SNOWTIVITY FAQs

Making snow activities add-on and self-guided gives you the freedom to shape your weekend your way. Choose the experiences that interest you most, spend more time on the mountain, mix in other activities, or lean fully into après when that’s the vibe. You can also use the Blackout Weekend App to connect with others who are interested in the same activities, making it easy to link up when you want. It’s about options, not obligations — so your weekend feels flexible, personal, and effortless.

Not at all! Whether you’ve already been out a time or two or you’re just ski-curious, Blackout Weekend is built for everyone. Beginners can learn or level up through lessons (check the resort for pricing), experienced riders can push their skills with a crew that matches their pace, and guests who don’t ski or snowboard — or simply want a break from the slopes — can choose from a variety of snow adventures like tubing, snowmobiling, and more.

Absolutely! Join the Blk+Blu Society, our special crew for skiers and snowboarders who ride blues, blacks, and above. Connect and coordinate on meet-ups and in-app chat. You're never riding solo unless you want to be.

The official Blackout Weekend App is your central hub for schedules, locations, and real-time updates throughout the weekend. Some events require an RSVP or additional fee and are noted in the itinerary. Most snow activities including lift tickets are add-on and not included.

Lift tickets, rentals, and any ticketed snow adventures should be booked as soon as possible, as space is often limited and available discounts may be limited or expire before the trip. Meet-ups, and many activities can be decided on-site based on your energy, weather, and what you’re in the mood for. Some experiences are only available to book on site and are noted as such — be sure to check the activity details for the most up-to-date information.

Start with what excites you most. Some guests come to spend as much time on the mountain as possible, while others prefer to mix in lighter snow adventures or keep things more social. Consider your comfort level, energy, and how you want your days to feel, then use the Blackout Weekend App to explore options, see details, and connect with others interested in similar experiences.
